Philippe Melka is one of the world's most respected winemakers, and is best known for "finding the voice of the vineyard through its terroir." Robert Parker named him one of the world's top nine wine consultants. He moved to the United States and in 1995 and began working with Seavey Vineyard. Since then he's created Atelier Melka and now, with his partner and Director of Winemaking, Maayan Koschitzky, they are focuing on small production, handcrafted high-end wines all around the world - most notably in California and Bordeaux. With many decades of winemaking experience, the Atelier Melka winemaking team is producing some of the most profound and highly collectible wines in the world, and it is a rare treat to be able to taste so many of his wines together.
