This vertical features a bottle of our 2004, 2007, and 2011 Seavey Caravina Cabernet Sauvignon, in a beautifully branded wooden gift-box. The Wine Advocate's Robert Parker considers the Caravina Cabernet “…perhaps the best second wine in all of Napa Valley…”
2004 Caravina Cabernet
A full bodied, rich and concentrated wine that reflects a beautiful vintage. The wine is laced with dark fruit, currants, caramel, earth and spice notes, plus Seavey's signature minerality.
2007 Caravina Cabernet
An elegant nose of deep plum, black cherry, caramel and burnt embers followed by dark fruit, cassis, mocha and moist earth flavors in the mouth. The lush and fruit filled palate is balanced by woody notes and tannins that have begun to soften.
2011 Caravina cabernet
Warm aromas from a dark fruit galette of plum and blackberry, gently wrapped in a waft of rose petals, resonate in the mouth. Neither opulent nor heavy, but revealing lively concentration and intensity, this wine exemplifies the savoriness of this unique growing season -- a special profile that is unlikely to be repeated.
